Greatness of technology!!

Greatness of technology!
I know very well that I am not at all a good writer because my English is very poor. I wish I could write some handsome sentences! Then I must continue writing. Why technology is great? A glaring example, few minutes back I talked to my family for long 40 minutes and they could see me. Of course this was possible because of technology. If we think about Egypt! The live video! What an amazing pictures people around the world are getting within a moment. Isn’t it the contribution of Technology? Ok I like you to add something on technology……..

First presenter: Mapping Historical Resources, Harrisonburg, VA, Kevin Borg, History Department

My view or opinion about this presenter is positive. He is very much analytical. The map he displayed is the combination of both past and present through which the viewers can compare between two. The presenter himself and the students of JMU worked very had on it. The intention of these is to help the SS of JMU to realize how HB has change with passage of time so that SS can do a research on it. The map shows the ultimate change of HB. It has helped he know the past and present of this city. It was created on Google earth. The presenter used Photoshop too.
Second presenter: Interactive Geologic Maps of Virginia and the Shenandoah Valley Region - Steve Whitmeyer, Geology & Environmental Science.
The second presenter presented some parts of the city Virginia and the Shenandoah Valley Region. In this map we saw rocks. The presenter used different colors to highlight them. The visuals were presented jointly with the presenter’s colleague. They also used Google earth and Google maps. The aim of this effort is of course education and research rather than  creating network among the components of Virginia. The target groups are students mainly. It was actually open for all.. The map is an actual representation of locations in Virginia that provide data and pictures. These visuals have helped me get to know the use of Google earth as  this the first opportunity for me I am trying to keep pace with technology.

Technology is the best way of our life.

Great Technology!
It's not from my lip but from my heart. To speak the truth, Technology has changed  my vision of life. Coming here in JMU and attending one Seminar and attending technology class, I came to know that I need to learn a lot. The people around me at JMU find very helpful and kind. Specially if i don't mention the name of Jesica, Malizer , it would be unjust to them. How helpful Jesica is! Well, the google earth and the blackboard would help us to some great extent, I firmly believe it.
Let's go ahead for the better days.

My adventure in USA

Hello! I am here in Harrisonburg, Virginia, USA. I feel like an adventure because I am above forty but now a student of James Madison University! However I got a Fulbright scholarship from IREX on International Leaders in Education approved by US state department. Though I have some limitations, my ambition is to explore every nook and corner of USA. My budgeted time for this program is only four months and twenty days.
Well I have already ended the orientation at Washington Hotel Plaza, Washington Dc, USA. It was a four day long orientation and one day free schedule for taking rest as I had been in long 18 hours journey. To be continued…
